The Runnymede Society is a non-partisan organization of Canadian law students, legal scholars, and jurists committed to the principles of constitutionalism, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law. Through on-campus lectures, panels, and debates, Runnymede seeks to promote intellectual diversity in the Canadian legal academy and profession on these core principles and other timely legal debates. We invite speakers and attendees from across the legal spectrum to attend our events, and offer meaningful academic and professional development opportunities for students who join our chapters as members.
